About QuickSizee
A small set of tools for a small set of problems: a file that needs to be smaller, a photo that needs to be a specific shape, a link that needs to be scannable.
How it works
Every tool on this site is a web page with JavaScript attached. Images are drawn to a canvas element, altered, and offered back to you as a download. Nothing is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send it — the site is a set of static files.
That design has a cost: very large files can exhaust a phone's memory and crash the tab. It has a benefit that matters more: your photos never touch a server, so there is no copy to leak, retain, or sell.
Who runs it
QuickSizee is an independent project. It is funded by advertising, which is why there are ads on some pages and none inside the tools themselves. If an ad is ever in the way of the thing you came to do, that is a bug — tell us.
The photo specifications on this site are compiled from published government guidance and are checked periodically, but they change without notice. Always confirm against the form you are submitting to.
